Text & Motion
Just sitting still isn’t much fun.
Below is a sampling of my text and motion work.

This animation was created for a casino client using C4D and After Effects. No visuals were supplied, so I started with the concept that any conquering force must first plant its flag and went from there, building a cloth simulation in C4D.

The client needed a fresh way of introducing their established logo for commercial end slates. I built a crystalline version of the logo in C4D, faceted to refract a starry sky as it animated in. The transition to the full-color logo was composited in After Effects.

Using provided graphics from accompanying print and web promos, a particle generator was used to write the text in the sky in this After Effects edit.

This static web banner was animated to serve double duty, changing to signal which locations were included in televised weekly spots. Edited in After Effects

Casino spots should look fun. Fire looks a bit terrifying. To reconcile these facts, I set up a particle generator in After Effects to make a stylized ring of fire that got the concept across but wouldn’t send anyone to the burn unit.

Needing something that would work on a dark or light background, I made this reversible title for a casino Summer Sign-Up promotion. Edited in After Effects.

Adapted from provided artwork used in a printed mailer, this animation took a cue from the text style (and Tom Sawyer), slathering on elements with broad brushstrokes. Edited in After Effects.
